The Chinese say that the energy of the earth is still cold, that is, the cold is not only in the air but also in the country. It is good to feel that when the sun goes out behind the clouds or the wind rises, it is immediately cold. Spring wind is similar to winter wind, so a person who does not protect himself from the wind can easily cool down, even when it is quite warm.
In addition, the wind causes stress and restlessness, affects the nervous system, causes headaches or even nausea. One Chinese saying says the wind carries a hundred diseases. Spring reminds rheumatisms of their difficulties, which also wake up to life …
It is important not to get depressed and melancholy in the spring, as these emotions damage the energy of the liver. Anger is also harmful to them. For the overall support of the body in the spring, the period is an especially good mood. Especially no upset, because the anger and upset weakened liver mean deepening possible fatigue. According to traditional Chinese medicine, spring is the period of the wood element. Qi spring is linked to qi liver.
The liver and gall bladder belong to the wood element. Both organs are responsible for the smooth flow of energy and blood in the body, tension and relaxation, for physical flexibility (for example, joints, tendons, ligaments) and mental (anger, aggression).
