Herbal Tea Recipes

Summer has arrived, the temperature rises sharply, the heat is unbearable and it is easy to get heatstroke. Medicinal tea has a good preventive effect on heatstroke, is cheap, simple and convenient to produce, and is deeply loved by people. Make herbal teas to clear coughs and relieve the summer heat, from which everyone can choose.

Chrysanthemum tea

10 grams of chrysanthemum tea.
Pour boiling water, and soak for 10 minutes before drinking. Put a pinch of chrysanthemum flowers in a glass and water with boiling water. Suitable to drink 2-3 times a day. This tea drink acts as a soothing wind and dispels heat, cleanses the liver and improves eyesight and detoxifies.


Wolfberry(Goji)@Ginseng Tea

5 grams of ginseng and goji berry.
Pour into boiling water for 10 minutes.
This tea has the effect of stimulating Qi and promoting body fluid. Ginseng can stimulate Qi, strengthen detoxification, promote body fluids and calm nerves; goji can help fill the deficiency and replenish the essence. Suitable for patients with Qi and yin deficiency.



Lotus seed@Watermelon tea

1g yellow watermelon, 3-5 lotus seeds
Pour hot water and drink after cooling. This tea drink dissipates heat, relieves summer heat and eliminates nausea. Watermelon can help relieve thirst, swelling, sore tongue, heatstroke, dry throat and persistent cough caused by the dry climate of autumn and winter; the lotus seed heart can purify the heart, remove heat, stop bleeding, and hold the essence. Suitable for wounds and ulcers in the oral cavity.


Camomile tea

Take 10 grams each of camomile, chrysanthemum, cassia seed and sophora japonica and boil water instead of tea.
It has the functions of heat dissipation and detoxification, lowers blood pressure, improves eyesight and refreshes the mind




Mint tea

10 grams of Lonicera japonica  (honeysuckle), 10 grams of mung bean, 6 grams of mint, boil water instead of tea. It has the effect of reducing summer heat, humidity and fluid build-up.



Huo Xiang tea

10 grams of Huo Xiang (Agastachis Herba) and Pei Lan (Herba Eupatorii).
Rinse with water, slice and soak in boiling water for 10 minutes.
This tea has a detoxifying and moisturizing effect. Huo Xiang and Pei Lan can dispel dampness and invigorate the spleen, detoxify and neutralize, and relieve summer heat. Suitable for people with chest pressure and discomfort in summer.
